For volunteer departments

NERIS software priced for volunteer departments

Your members have day jobs. Your reports still have to get to NERIS. ExigentOps keeps the paperwork short, works on the phone in their pocket, and costs $1,200 a year for the whole department.

Made for the way volunteer departments run

Every member, one price

$1,200 a year covers your whole roster — firefighters, officers, the chief and the secretary. No per-seat fees and no modules to buy.

Pay by check

No card on file. We mail one invoice a year your treasurer can pay by check, and a late check never locks you out of your records.

Short reports

The form asks only what fits the call. A lift assist is a minute. A structure fire walks you through what NERIS needs.

Phones, not desktops

Start a report in the cab, finish it at home. Dictate the narrative and let AI draft it for you to check.

No signal? No problem

Rural dead zones don’t stop a report, a truck check or an inspection. They upload themselves when you’re back in range.

Volunteer sign-ups

Post shifts with a minimum crew and let members sign themselves up. See who’s short at a glance.

Active911 built in

Calls and who responded come straight in, so the report starts with the address and time already filled.

Burn permits online

Residents request burn permits from your public page instead of calling the chief at home. One click calls a burn ban.

Training and certs

Drill hours by member, certifications with expiration warnings, all in the same place as your runs.

Set up before your next drill night

You don’t need an IT person. If you can fill out a NERIS report, you can set up ExigentOps.

  1. Create your department

Sign up, name your department and add your stations and apparatus.

  2. Paste your roster

Copy it from your spreadsheet and paste it in. ExigentOps sorts out the columns.

  3. Connect NERIS

Enroll ExigentOps in your NERIS account and enter your department ID.

  4. Run your first report

Write it, check it with NERIS, have the chief approve and file it.

Volunteer department questions

How much does ExigentOps cost a volunteer department?

$1,200 a year for departments that run up to 300 incidents a year. That includes every feature and an account for every member on your roster.

Do we need a credit card?

No. Start with a 30-day free trial. When you decide to stay we mail an invoice once a year and you pay by check, the way most township and district treasurers prefer.

Our members are on their phones, not at a desk. Does it work?

Yes. ExigentOps runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and reports, truck checks and inspections save without signal and upload later.

We use Active911. Does it connect?

Yes. Connect your department’s own Active911 account and calls come into ExigentOps every two minutes, with who responded, ready to start a report from.

Try it free for 30 days.

Every feature, every member. If it doesn’t save your officers time on reports, don’t keep it.
